RECAP:  2006 has already broadened Pride and Soul's international exposure as they've set off to conquer Scandinavia with their "Helsinki Bikini Beach-Blanket Tour" (hot cocoa and warm towels are greatly appreciated).  2005 was as eventful and exciting as previous years for Pride and Soul, with gigs all over the Northeast and Midwest ("Hello" to the Ladies of Topeka Knitting Circle!), the highlight being their appearance as part of the New York International Fringe Festival (sincere thanks to all those who came out to support!).  Look out for Pride and Papa as they bring peace, love and soul to a city near you!


CABLE UPDATE: Manhattan Cable has expressed an interest in airing Pride's very own cable show, "The Pride Jones Experience".  Manhattan Cable was scheduled to attend performances last winter to make the final decision; however, due to a ruckus that spilled onto Sixth Avenue from Macy's between Santa and a rambunctious 12 year-old demanding to know why he didn't get an Xbox last year, the booking rep for Manhattan Cable was rushed to the hospital and missed the performances.  Stay tuned for further developments!

MUSIC NEWS: On the music front, Pride and Soul's next album, "Pride and Soul: Singing With Pride", will be released in the Spring of 2007.  For those of you who cannot wait that long to have Pride and Soul singing in your homes everyday, you can purchase their new 45, which is due to be pressed in July, 2006.

POLITICAL NEWS:  Pride and Soul were not victorious in their surprise run for the US Presidency in 2004, but that hasn't stopped them!  They would like to promote the change of the Democratic Party's Animal Mascot from the Donkey to the Duck-bill Platypus!  If you would like to join their fight, please e-mail them at: platypus@prideandsoul.com
